We're kicking off for the 10th time!

+++

On October 30, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., we will officially launch the 10th anniversary edition of Industry meets Makers with a kick-off event in Bratislava. During this event, representatives from leading companies and organizations will present their Future Tech Challenges (also known as “briefings”) for the upcoming round. These challenges invite innovative minds to collaborate over a five-month period in developing forward-thinking solutions (Learn more about the IMM basic concept).

We warmly welcome all those interested – whether to explore the topics, connect with our challenge partners and broader innovation community, or even actively contribute to the solutions.

This year, the kick-off will take place in Bratislava for the first time, as part of our new cross-border Twin City Hub initiative. The exact location will be announced at a later date. For participants from Austria, a shuttle service from Vienna to Bratislava will be provided. The same service will run in reverse for the final event in March.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

We have recently begun curating this year’s program and identifying suitable future tech challenges. All confirmed topics and their associated speakers will be announced here on a rolling basis in the lead-up to the event.

If you have compelling topics to propose or are interested in contributing in any other way, we would be delighted to hear from you. Your input is always welcome!
