Program Overview
+++
We know that committing to a full four-day program can be challenging – everyone’s schedule, responsibilities, and availability are different. That’s why we designed the bootcamp in a flexible hop-on/hop-off format: you can join the key sessions and structure the build time around what works for you.
DAY 1 – May 4
Pitching & Matchmaking
Hainburg & online
The bootcamp opens with a morning briefing: challenge owners and technology partners present their topics as well as the available tools and data sets. A Q&A session follows.
In the afternoon, participants connect, develop ideas, and form teams to create initial concepts and prepare for the build phase.
DAY 2 + 3 – May 5–6
Build & Iterate
Hainburg & online
Over the next two days, teams focus on hands-on development, prototyping, and testing in a flexible hop-on/hop-off format.
Short morning and early afternoon check-ins help teams share progress, exchange feedback, and tackle blockers with expert support.
DAY 4 – May 7
Demo & Next Steps
Vienna City Hall
The final day begins at 2:00 p.m. with a pitch test session at Vienna City Hall, followed by the official stage program of “Best of Industry meets Makers 2026” at 4:00 p.m..
This is where teams present the solutions they have developed over the course of the bootcamp and the last 5 months of the IMM program.
